If you played the first round of Silence, does anyone remember the Affiliate Dresspheres I did? Recently, I got bored, and wanted to join a new TCG, but I wanted to make sure I'd really be into it, and started playing a few games of a couple TCGs to see if it's something I'd want to do weekly. I didn't pick anything, but I thought about it and realized I want to do something similar for Athenian.
Each month, we could do a different TCG. There will be rules, goals, and rewards like in Silence, though they won't all be the same way they were.
The rules would basically be the limits at which you can participate, and any special rules from the owner (ex: those that let their members direct-link may or may not allow you to direct-link.)
The goals won't be the specific requirements needed to get the dressphere (or reward), but general marks that give you cards for Athenian.
So, basically, rather than doing everything to get a big reward, you go with the flow and take a nice little reward for whatever landmark you hit.
As implied by the rules note, I will make sure to get the owner's permission before starting a round for their TCG.
People that are members of the TCG at the time cannot be part of it (if you had had full membership, would you really use the free trial during?), but you will get a membership reward, and you will still be able to join the bonus game for each TCG.
You need a log for the cards you get, but you don't have to be active (like most free trials, your progress is saved, but your activity doesn't matter to those who give you the time limit).
Here's the page for it, in case we do it: requiem-rose.net/athenian/trials.php
So what do you think? You don't need to answer each of the questions (just let your thoughts out), but if you don't know what to say, just think of these questions.
- Should we try it?
- Anything you think I should do?
- Anything you think I shouldn't do?
- Anything I should change?
- Should the trial members trade amongst themselves, or should trading be one of the members-only things?
