I was looking at the Month deck page, as well as thought of all the TCG opening dates I've seen, and realized that there are obviously certain months that are better for TCGs to open than others, and that I want to use them for only some events, like our TCG anniversary, or something, and even if I did make them at every big holiday, there are still a couple of months that won't have many. So, I had some ideas on images that would be best here. Let me know what you like and don't like:
- All-Female Relationships: Basically like the old Athenian puzzle/group decks. It could have certain groups, like the Inner or outer scouts (or all the scouts) in Sailor Moon, and YRP/Gullwings.
- Series Promotionals: It's a little outside the TCG's subject, but they will fit in with the TCG anniversary decks, so I personally don't think it would be too bad. Basically, I pick a specific image I really like for a deck, such as the FFX-2 group image or Braid's broken hourglass image (which I love).
- Non-A/M/VG Women: Like, certain people. Because I don't want it overflowed with these images, it would be restricted to at least semi-relevent women and images, and would probably be like a monthy contest, similar to an awards thing. Like we vote on best Live-Action Movie Actress ("Nominees" would be like, Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider, or Milla Jonovich in Resident Evil), where in the end, the deck name will be movieactress. [By the way, for monthly, it would be two weeks nomination and two weeks voting.]
- Blend Contest: Maybe we could have blend contests that are used. Each one would have a theme, such as Makeovers for people that have changed over time like Yuna (FFX to FFX-2), Tira (SCIII to SCIV), or Kyoko (Any combination of any or all of the following: Old Kyoko, Revenge Kyoko, Mio Kyoko ~or even her beginning Mio to her own Mio~, and Natsu Kyoko). It would be a monthly contest that I could not participate in, and would pick winners on the last day of the month. [Keep in mind that the criteria would at least be (nearly) textless blends that can be seen well in a 290x265 area.]
You don't have to pick one. The more combinations we use, the more month decks we can have, so you can just tell me what you all think of each idea. Each one is pretty much an individual vote. I don't think I'd be able to handle all of them, but I think it could just be starting off with two monthly competitions would be different. If I did both of them, it would probably be alternating months, especially since some people may not be able to make blends.
